The Sensor of Switches utilize Diaphragm style, the housing material for partial specification is stainless, it can be suitable for neutral gas and water, hydraulic pressure oil, lubricating oil, light fuel ect. Fluid medium. The Set Point is adjustable, and its adjustable range is from --0.1Mpa to 6.3Mpa.
The Adjustment for Dead Band Non-Adjustable Switches
Example 1, Choose range 0.03-1Mpa, a contact signal is required to be generated when pressure rise to 0.5Mpa( the Increasing Set Point)
1) Loose the locknut, screw the Hi-Pressure Port into the threaded connection of Checkout Test Set. Use the spanner to clip the flat port of the sensor to avoid countermovement of the housing and the sensor. Leave Lo-Pressure Port free.
2) Open the front cover of the switch, let the cable pass through electrical connection and link to the terminal, link another end to the multimeter.
3) Add the pressure to 0.5Mpa, this value can be read from the standard pressure gauge.
4) Clockwise rotate the Set Point Adjusting bolt, to make the Set Point change from big to small, until it switchs at 0.5Mpa.
5) Screw the locknut, adjust the pressure of the testing desk, to make the pressure change up and down around 0.5Mpa, to test if it switches at 0.5Mpa when pressure is rising. Its correspondent Decreasing Set Point just to be 0.5Mpa minus Dead Band 0.03
Example 2. Choose 0.05-1.6Mpa, a contact signal is required to be generated when pressure fall to 0.8Mpa (The Decreasing Set Point)
1. ) Loose the locknut, screw the Hi-Pressure Port into the threaded connection of Checkout Test Set. Use the spanner to clip the flat port of the sensor to avoid countermovement of the housing and the sensor. Leave Lo-Pressure Port free.
2. ) Open the front cover of the switch, let the cable pass through electrical connection and link to the terminal, link another end to the multimeter.
3. ) Add the pressure to 0.8Mpa, this value can be read from the standard pressure gauge.
4. ) Contrarotate the Set Point Adjusting bolt, to make the Set Point change from small to bigl, until it switchs at 0.8Mpa.
5. ) Screw the locknut, adjust the pressure of the testing desk, to make the pressure change up and down around 0.8Mpa, to test if it switches at 0.8Mpa when pressure is falling. This value is just the Decreasing Set Point, Its correspondent Increasing Set Point to be 0.8Mpa plus the Dead Band 0.075Mpa, just 0.875Mpa
TheAdjustment for Dead Band Adjustable Switches.
Example 3, Choose 0.03-1Mpa, a contact signal is required to be generated when pressure rise to 0.5Mpa( the Increasing Set Point)
3) Add the pressure to 0.4Mpa, this value can be read from the standard pressure gauge.
4) Contrarotate the Set Point Adjusting bolt until it switches at 0.4Mpa, this is to fix the Decreasing Set Point.
5) Contrarotate the Set Point Adjusting Bolt again, to ensure the Dead Band value become larger until it switches at 0.6Mpa when pressure is rising.
6) Tighten the locknut, adjust the pressure of the testing desk, to make the pressure traversing between 0.4Mpa to 0.6Mpa, the test if it switches at 0.6Mpa when pressure is rising. This value is just the Increasing Set Point. And to test if it switches at 0.4Mpa when pressure is falling. This is the Decreasing Set Point.
Selection and Installation of the Switches
The Set Point must be within the aAdjustable Range, Dead Band is expressed as Typical at MID-range. Normally it is the 20% to80% of the Ajustable Range.
